It’s springtime and we are getting ready to polish ICHO’s Zotero group library!
Please join us 6-10 June 2022 for a collaborative spring-clean. The event is scheduled for the entire week so that you can join whenever and from wherever you are, at any time of the day from all continents and oceans.
Since 2020 members and friends of ICHO have crowdsourced 955 journal articles, books, chapters and more that address the history of ocean science. Many thanks to all of you for your time and engagement with ICHO’s efforts to provide resources to our community and beyond.
The idea for a Zotero Fest is to gather the ICHO community to arrange and complete the Zotero library to make it more useful and easy to use. In a short Zoom meeting Beatriz Martínez-Rius will introduce you to Zotero. We will record and post the session, so that anyone joining later can watch it.
To make sure that we are not overlapping, we will distribute tasks among participants through google docs. The tasks include tagging and quality work, for example reviewing already existing references and flagging those which need to be modified because information is missing. And of course, you are welcome to add new references!
For the person who contributes the most during the week will receive a small prize.
Opening ceremony and introduction to Zotero: June 6, 11:00 EDT
Roundup and Small Prize Ceremony June 10, 3:00pm EDT to 4:00pm EDT
We hope to see many of you and look forward to an interactive Zotero Fest!
